Lawnmowerspro.co.uk love to write lawn mower reviews and the Bosch Rotak 34 Ergoflex Electric Rotary Lawnmower is no ordinary lawn mower. It is one of our favourite lawn mowers and in this review I will tell you why.
When you buy a lawn mower you want something that has the features to get the job done. The thing is feature packed. I will now cover some of the main features in more detail:
Ergoflex System
The original 34 was a great lawn mower. So what is the difference between the Rotak 34 and the Rotak 34 Ergoflex? Well the Ergoflex is the updated version of the original. Bosch have taken everything that was great in the original Rotak 34 and have just made it better. How?
The Ergoflex system is designed to provide the user with full control over the lawn mower. The “Ergo-grip” is a multigrip control system that allows simple operation of lawn mower. Bosch have mimiced the design from a computer console controller to make operating this lawn mower childs play.
PowerDrive Motor System
At a heart of this lawn mower is a 1400 watt motor which more thank packs a punch. The PowerDrive motor system is a powerful and intelligent system that is designed to keep the mower working at optimum levels at all times.
Unique Grass Combs
These innovative combs allow the edges of the lawn to be neat and very “clean cut” because they allow you to mow right up to the edge.
In Operation
This mower is very easy to operate. Once you are plugged in, you push the start button and then grip any of the four oporational buttons on the ergogrip handle and then your ready to mow. While using this for the first time you will notice how quiet it is in operational mode. The next thing you will notice is how easy to manoeuvre it is. At only 10.5 Kg’s it is very lightweight and it basically goes where you want it to go. What I really love about this mower is the PowerDrive system. You really notice it kick in when you are mowing areas of long thick grass. Where other mowers may struggle the this one just breezes past.
Testing out this mower we were impressed with the final result of the cut grass – a nice even and sharp finish. The innovative grass combs really make a difference and give your lawn a professional finish around the edges.
Conclusion
Overall there is very little in the way of negative points we can say about this mower. At this sort of price range, you will be hard pressed to find something that will match this Bosch on performance and ease of use. All in all we rate this mower 5 stars.
What is the length of the Warranty?
Bosch provide a two year warranty as standard.

After doing our research we bought one of these because it was pretty good value. It’s a nice little mower, easy to use and light weight. We loved it so much we even bought another one as a gift to our parents because they love to mow their lawn but we felt it would be better for them to use this one over their petrol mower because the Rotak 34 is really light and easy to manoeuvre. Recommended!
